The evaluation comprised of three trenches. Natural terrace gravel was observed at a max level of 3.70m OD. A linear palaeo-channel on an NE-SW orientation was found to the north of the site. The construction of 19th century domestic buildings truncated potential archaeology on the south side of the site.
