The works consisted of the monitoring of pile probes in the former footprint of Barfleur House and followed an earlier watching brief conducted in 2001.

Garden soil/ make-up dumps were observed in an area of land to the N of the foreshore. A 19th /20th century brick shed or outbuilding was sealed by demolition and dumped deposits.
