Land at Plot C2 and D1 Eurolink III, Sittingbourne

Seven trenches were investigated at the site. Natural brickearth, gravels and Thanet sands were recorded at between 7.49m OD and 8.70m OD.
Drains and demolition deposits from late 19th century dwellings were recorded at the site. Quarrying for brickearth appears to have taken place during the 19th century. A series of dumped make-up layers also suggest late 19th / early 20th century activity.
