Natural chalk bedrock was recorded between 2.11m OD and 2.20m OD sealed by 19th century made ground.
In the north east of the site, above the made ground the remains of a 19th/20th century narrow gauge railway running approximately N-S and fragments of another line, slightly offset from the former, were recorded. The narrow gauge railway is related to the increase in prominence of Erith as an industrial dock on the Thames in the 19th and 20th century. Towards the middle of the site an early 19th century flint cobble yard surface was found with built into it an E-W aligned brick gully. No further evidence of buildings was encountered. A continues series of ground make up layers sealed both railway remains and yard surface.
