Boone's Chapel, Lee High Road, SE13 TQ 3932 7524 PCA Ltd (James

During the excavation of three geotechnical test pits within the
late 17th c Boone's Chapel a brick barrel-vault crypt was found
containing at least two coffins. One of these bore a breastplate
with the name “Christopher Boone” still visible. Below
the flagstones in the main body of the chapel the original 17th
c made ground was present. The construction cuts for both the chapel
and the crypt were also recorded. Natural strata were not reached.
