Natural brickearth was observed at 12.08m OD. Gravel extraction and ground stripping had removed much of the potential archaeological deposits in the areas covered by the watching brief and evaluation. A single Mesolithic/Early Neolithic flint flake was recovered from an interface layer between the natural brickearth and the ploughsoil to the north of the site.
