Site of the London Array onshore substation at Cleve Hill

Archaeology

A 53 trench evaluation, followed by a mitigation watching in 2008 was undertaken at the site of the London Array onshore substation at Cleve Hill, Graveney, Kent, for RPS Planning and Development on behalf of London Array Limited. The works were part of the onshore preparation for the offshore London Array wind farm.

Building Recording

A Level 4 historic building recording project was carried out on the operations post for a Second World War Royal Navy starfish bombing decoy site and a nearby second World War pillbox, at the site of the London Array onshore substation at Cleve Hill, Graveney, Kent, for RPS Planning and Development on behalf of London Array Limited. The works were part of the onshore preparation for the offshore London Array wind farm.
