Christiane Meckseper will be giving a talk to the Haddenham Local History Group on Thursday 17th November at 7.30pm at the Arkenstall Centre in Haddenham, Cambridgeshire.
Millfield Orchard on Aldreth Road, Haddenham has been the focus of village apple growing for the last few hundred years, but underneath its top soil lies the evidence of Iron Age and Roman enclosures, including a whole flock of sheep, revealed through archaeological excavation.
Tickets for members are free, and available to non-members for £3.00 per ticket.
