Katie and Eniko from the Durham Office will be taking part in the 2022 Autumn Roman Finds Group Conference New Research on Finds from the Eastern Region of Hadrian’s Wall. This will be held online via Zoom on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th October 2022. The conference is free to attend for all.

Katie has helped to organise the conference and will be chairing a session as well as giving a talk on ‘The Collections of The Society of Antiquaries of Newcastle upon Tyne’.
Eniko will be giving a talk on ‘Zoomorphic Mortaria from Piercebridge’ a study which developed from her specialist contribution on the mortaria in the recent publication ‘Bridge over troubled water: The Roman finds from the River Tees at Piercebridge in context’ (which is available through Open Access by clicking here).
